The hosts were very nice and accommodating the whole weekend my friends and I spent there. The cottage is located in a beautiful spot by the lake, and has wonderful natural light via the open space concept and the tall windows. The heated floors were also a huge bonus; super nice in the winter, and keeps you feeling cozy. All around this is a great spot to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

This is a fantastic rental – the property is huge, the surroundings are peaceful, and the privacy is excellent. Amenities are great – no saggy beds or 20-year-old TVs here! We spent a long weekend there – family gathering to celebrate my parents’ 50th. The place was perfect – lots of space both inside and out, and nothing was missing. The 70+ cohort loved it just as much as the preschool cohort (and everyone in between as well). The hosts are terrific, super responsive and good humored. We will be coming back for sure!

The property is perfectly located, close to grocery and LCBO (walking distance even). There were plentiful water vehicles while we were there: 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, 2 canoes and 2 pedal boats. This is MUCH more than you usually get included at most cottage rentals. The water was shallow and had some sandy areas good for kids… Nice open floor plan on the inside!

The cottage was very clean and spacious and we loved the large common area. The furnishings and bedding were very clean and modern. The cottage was also well equipped with sheets, towels, life jackets and the water equipment was great (canoes, kayaks, paddle boards etc).

We had an amazing weekend at Jill’s place and left with a lot of good memories. The view on the lake was just breathtaking and we had the pleasure to enjoy two beautiful sunsets. The house was very clean with all the equipment you need. Jill is extremely reactive when you message her. She is very nice to talk to and is very flexible. It is perfectly located walking distance to Barry’s Bay and the grocery stores. I would recommend this place 100%

Jill’s cottage was excellent for our group of 10 to celebrate New Years! Kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked and every bedroom even had a TV. There was an abundance of towels for all of us and amenities like a coffee maker and dishwasher in the kitchen were a nice touch. Jacuzzi tub was great and we had ample space for everyone to sleep. The cottage is located right on the lake, so you can skate on it in the winter. If you’re thinking about booking this cottage for a group don’t hesitate!

We all like the house very much, really had good time there. The house is as beautiful as the photos, and very very clean. It has a large living room, you can enjoy the lake view through the large floor to ceiling windows. We enjoyed the camp fire in front of the house, you can buy fire wood from the gas station for 20 bucks, which is enough for 2 hours. The house has everything you need, we just feel very convinient and comfortable. We like the house and recommend it.

This is a beautiful cottage with all the modern day conveniences. There was plenty of room for everyone and we liked the lay out of the rooms. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayak, and paddle board. The natural waterfront is lovely. We saw beavers swimming back and forth, ducks, loons, Canada Geese, and a Blue Heron.

We had a great time staying here. The place is a 5min walk away from a little outdoor playground with beach volleyball nets as mentioned in the description. The waterfront is shallow with a sandbank for the first little while. lots of waterlilies on either side. the public beach by he park is sandy and has a swimming platform to swim out to. The place is well equipped with all your basics, a big fridge, 6 burner gas stove and oven, bbq, and dishwasher which came in handy. the windows do not have curtains but that didn’t bother us. the place is secluded so no nosy neighbors. we were 10 people staying here and it was no problem at all to accommodate everyone. We would certainly come back and enjoy the sunsets again!

Sherry’s place is wonderfully spacious, clean and bright and well equipped to meet all your needs. The proximity of the public beach and playground area makes this home especially inviting for young families. It’s just a ten minute stroll to downtown Barry’s Bay where you can buy all your supplies for your stay.

Accommodating, cozy, and in a great location! Very private vacation home in a friendly town. Family of 10 stayed at this place during the Canada Day long weekend. There was a 45 minute long firework show on the water – we had front row seats!
